INSOLVENCY NOTICE ACCESS INSURANCE COMPANY
On March 13, 2018, the District Court of Travis County, Texas issued an Order of Liquidation, declaring the ACCESS INSURANCE COMPANY to be insolvent and appointed the Texas Insurance Commissioner as the Liquidator.
All insurance policies issued by Access Insurance Company shall be terminated and cancelled effective thirty (30) days from date of liquidation. All policyholders are hereby advised to secure replacement coverage immediately.
The Order of Liquidation has not yet established a claim filing deadline. Pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes, claims can not be filed with the Nevada Insurance Guaranty Association more than 18 months after the date of the order of Liquidation or after the final date set by the court, whichever is earlier. The Nevada Insurance Guaranty Association claim filing deadline date is September 13, 2019.
